Water Treatment

Aqua Systems rents, sells, and services a full line of water treatment equipment for many of your water problems. Please contact us to find out what we can do for you.

  • Problem Water Treatment

Iron: Iron in your water can be a nuisance and can become a real problem. Red staining in your toilet or bath tub is a sure sign of iron in your water. Metallic taste and odor can accompany your iron problems. We have several options for iron treatment depending upon the source of the iron, the amount of iron, the flow rate of the water system and the type of iron. We usually need to visit the installation and test the water in order to determine your needs.

Sulfur Smell: "Rotten egg smell" can be one of the worst problems in your water. The odor can also be accompanied by black or gray staining. Just like iron, sulfur smell needs to be treated based on the amount, the source, and the flow rate of the system. The only way to determine the proper method of treatment is with a visit to the installation and a test of the water.

Full Service Water Treatment: Aqua Systems offers solution to many other problem water conditions. Some of the problems we have solved are:

    Bacteria in Water

    Arsenic in Water

Nitrates-Normally a problem with infants, breast-feeding mothers, and pregnant women.

High Sodium-Can be a problem with irrigation and taste.

    Brackish Water-High total dissolved solids.

    Methane

    Aqua Systems Eradicator

  • Water Softeners

Features: All of our softeners use composite pressure vessels manufactured by Enpress LLC. Some units use the Vortech option.

Brand: We are an authorized distributor of Aqua Systems Smart Choice Softeners. Pricing

Operation: All units are regenerated on demand. They only regenerate after you use all the soft water based on a setting of 75% of maximum capacity. This allows a reserve to allow for soft water after the unit zero’s out. Regeneration can be scheduled for anytime, but is usually set for 2:00 AM.

Sizing: We size these units to provide three days capacity between regenerations based on average daily usage.

Calculation-Number of occupants X 60 gallons per day average usage X water hardness X 3 = minimum capacity. Divide minimum capacity by .75 and that will give unit size.

Efficiency: Unit capacity is based on a 9 lb per cubic foot salting. This equals a conservative rating of 2,666 grains per lb of salt. The units are all-adjustable and can be set for more or less salting depending upon other factors in the installation. For example: Iron in the water, high TDS in the water, and quality of soft water can be considered.

Warranty: The entire unit is covered by a five or seven year warranty. Both parts and labor are covered if we install the unit. The fiberglass tank and the brine tank are covered for your lifetime.

  • Drinking Water Treatment/Reverse Osmosis Units

Reverse Osmosis Units: We use the Aqua Systems Pure Choice brand of drinking water units. We offer the full line of units in both a fifty gallon per day or one hundred gallon per day models. Pricing
